Since we started our business growing chillis back in 2007, we have grown over 45 different varieties from all over the world, including Barbados, Central Africa, Peru, Russia, Mexico and the Caribbean; not bad for a suburban back garden!
Our fruity relishes are great with cold meats and cheese; some, such as Garlic and Chilli Jelly, are a very good accompaniment with a curry. They are also good with cheese, in a sandwich or with salads and BBQs. Although Jamaica Sunburn is still Steve's favourite with cheese.
Our sauces are either pepper based, fruit based or tomato based, and can be used for cooking, marinading or dipping. Naga Napalm is a great base for a Chilli Con Carne, whereas the hot pepper sauces, such as Reaper's Revenge and Devil's Heatwave are excellent for spicing up casseroles and soups. You can also mix them with Greek Yoghurt or Creme Fraiche to make a lovely unusual dip or salad dressing.
We have also added a range of sweet chilli sauces which are not only excellent for cooking but also rather good if used as mixers in drinks.
A seasonal speciality is our Mulling Syrup which is used to make mulled wine, mulled cider and has been used by the Hog's Back Brewery in Guildford to brew a Christmas Ale.

They're how hot ?
Our personal preference is for our sauces and relishes to be tasty and not too hot. However, some people have requested that we make them hotter. Therefore we have a range of Sauces and Relishes to appeal to those of you who like it hot. However, if you are not sure, please feel free to ask to taste if you see us at one of the markets we attend.
